About

If you read our "‘About” page, then you already know that one of the future dreams of Prickly Pear Coffee is to have a yoga studio/coffee shop/ministry center. As we are starting with a mobile version of the coffee shop dream, we decided to start mobile with a yoga studio concept too! Being a mobile yoga “studio” means that you can book an event/private class with Prickly Pear yoga!

This fall, we are hosting one Holy Yoga class each week in West Nashville! Click below to learn more.

Pricing

Hire Prickly Pear Yoga for your fundraiser, party, or just a private class with friends. This could also be a fun pop-up idea within a business!

You can choose from a variety of classes, including; power, restore, holy yoga or vinyasa.

$100/hour

Power - power yoga includes all of your basic vinyasa flows, (like Sun A & Sun B) but also adds a strength & cardio aspect for a new challenge to your practice.

Restore - a restore class includes more restful, deep-stretch poses. You will spend more time in each pose than you would in any other class, and will focus on relaxation and recharging.

Holy Yoga - Holy Yoga is the intentional practice of incorporating Biblical truth into your standard practice. Holy Yoga is an experiential worship created to deepen people's connection to Christ.

Vinyasa - vinyasa is great for those who are new to yoga, or just want to get back to the basics. This class includes all of your favorite poses, leaving you feeling energized as you step off your mat.

Why Yoga?

Well first off, there’s many benefits to yoga. For example:

  • increased flexibility.

  • increased muscle strength and tone.

  • improved respiration, energy and vitality.

  • maintaining a balanced metabolism.

  • weight reduction.

  • cardio and circulatory health.

  • improved athletic performance.

  • protection from injury.

But also, from personal experience, yoga is something that improves ideas of body image, and helps you to learn to love yourself in a new way!

Lindsey Hays

Hi, I’m Lindsey Hays, and I received my 200 hr. yoga certification through Holy Yoga. I grew up doing ballet and then teaching it for several years before transitioning from a dance instructor to a yoga instructor. I love how yoga gives me intentional time to set my focus on Jesus in worship and reminds me of the strength of the Spirit that is always with us. I am so excited to meet with Jesus on our mats together. Can’t wait to meet you in class!

Favorite pose: wild thing

Favorite coffee drink: caramel macchiato!

Brittany Bannon

Hey, y’all! My name is Brittany Bannon and I have been a Holy Yoga instructor since 2015. I really came to yoga through my first pregnancy and was so glad when I found Holy Yoga with my second child. Adding the truth of Scripture to the physical release of yoga was healing and energizing in so many ways. I now have specialties in kids, weights, prenatal, and working on yogalates! I have the most fun developing classes around themes and can't wait to bring the love of Jesus into the Prickly Pear yoga classroom!

Favorite coffee drink: Almond Milk Latte! (but loving these summer iced coffees!)
